Flow with Pride is a Queer embodiment, clothing optional* movement & meditation event for questioning, curious and Queer women & non gender conforming folk who are comfortable in feminine spaces.
Celebrating pride month, this is the 2nd year in a row I will be hosting this event. The fact that it is annual makes it that little but more special. So join me in a safe space as we speak, move and embody everything that makes us Queer, releasing our shame, and connecting with our community.
*I strive to make this event a safe space for those wanting to further connect with their bodies by removing the restrictions of clothing. Although the removal of clothing will NEVER be enforced.
6.45pm - 9.15pm | Saturday 24 June | Oxford Street, Darlinghurst
The night will begin in a dimly lit circle sharing our names, pronouns, and anything else we feel called to express. You will also have the opportunity to ask any curious questions anonymously by writing them on paper and placing it in the centre. Think of this as a popcorn style conversation where you can share what ever comes to your mind or silently observe.
We will then move into a 60 minute clothing-optional slow flow movement and meditation. You will have the opportunity to remain on your mat and journal before finishing the night with a grazing platter.
It's important to acknowledge that although we see, hear and appreciate our allies, this event will be held for curious, questioning and Queer identifying folk only. Queer people have been historically marginalised with many struggling from homophobia on a daily basis and are not able to be themselves out of fear of being judged, humiliated, disowned, or possibly attacked. This night will be held as a safe space to be radical and free.
There will be no pressure to arrive in a certain way. Come as you are and take what you need - This night is for you 🌈
